A Letter From Our President

Hello! My name is Addie Freedle, and I am a 3rd year student studying Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning and a Human Resources Certificate. I joined Delta Sigma Pi in my first semester at CSU in the fall of 2021, and I am so thankful for all of the wonderful opportunities and friendships I have experienced along the way. I have grown so much in my professional and leadership skills while also building meaningful connections and making lifelong friendships. As a member of this organization, there are also many leadership opportunities available. I have had the privilege of holding multiple executive roles including VP of Pledge Education, VP of Professional Activities, and now President. Being a member of the executive team has been the most fulfilling part of this experience for me personally, and I am honored to serve as President this year!

Delta Sigma Pi is America’s foremost business fraternity. We develop individuals and our community through the highest standard of business and professional practices. Our fraternity has a strong commitment to brotherhood, community service, and professional development opportunities for all members. Our 100 brothers and the Mu Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi as a whole have a strong relationship with the College of Business, Colorado State University, and the Fort Collins community as we continue striving to make the entire community a better place. We are the oldest professional fraternity in the College of Business as well as the largest business fraternity in the world with over 300,000 members around the world. By joining Delta Sigma Pi, you are joining an international organization with brothers and opportunities around the world.

Delta Sigma Pi offers endless opportunities to grow personally and professionally. We provide unique networking and leadership opportunities that help members prepare for a lifetime of success. The national fraternity hosts numerous leadership conferences and events providing personal and professional development workshops. These events also serve as great networking opportunities for individuals to make connections with people around the country. This semester we are headed to Reno, Nevada for Leadership and Excellence Academies for Deltasig’s (LEAD). Mu Rho’s brothers have gone on to receive internship and full-time positions at companies such as Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, Progressive, IBM, Goodyear, Hewlett Packard (HP), KPMG, Woodward, Deloitte, UBS, and many more. We have created a great relationship with these companies and many of them host events with our chapter because they love hiring Deltasigs.

Joining this organization truly changes lives. Last spring we initiated our 1,036th brother! While pledging for Delta Sigma Pi, I immediately knew that I found my place amongst the various organizations within the College of Business and the CSU community. The brothers within this fraternity are here to motivate you and support you through any challenge that life throws at you. The brothers in this fraternity will guide you, not only now, but throughout your lifetime, and will become those lifelong friends that everyone always looks for in college. Please attend our recruitment events to meet a group of amazing individuals and learn more about what we do. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Fraternally,

Addie Freedle
